Announcements

1. WO Haramain has kindly agreed to conduct GOH training for 24 selected cadets and SCLT Natasha from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesdays from February to April 2010. By participating in Marine Parade NDP, you will be able to meet the requirement of at least 20 Community Engagement hours for the CE Badge which is going to be a compulsory badge in order to be promoted to the next rank. The Guest-of-Honour is Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong. This is the only chance for you to don the No. 1 uniform (white top, black pants with combat boots) and carry water mist gun since the event is organised once every five years.

Note: The minimum rank to be a part of Guard-of-Honour contingent is Lance Corporal and the minimum height is 1.5 m. The Contingent Commander will carry a ceremonial sword. Cadets will have to follow Capt Lim to HTA to borrow No. 1 uniform in July. Water mist guns and ceremonial sword will be borrowed on a weekly basis as other units may need to use these items during their Founders' Day.

2. The second CCA session will be held on 27 January. Time: 3 to 6 p.m. Please do not be late, especially level SNCOs. Cadets are to assemble outside the Math Room. After attendance has been marked, cadets will be split into three groups. Year 2 cadets will proceed to Sec 407 classroom whereas Year 1 and 3 cadets will remain in the Math Room. For Year 1 cadets, we will set aside two hours for theory and one hour for games such as water bomb. For Year 2 and 3 cadets, we will set aside two hours for theory and one hour for teambuilding games. SNCO Felicia and some Year 2 cadets will prepare the games.
