Collaboration with other schools

We will most likely be having our Annual Camp in November 2008. As mentioned earlier, we will use the resources e.g. campcraft equipment at Changkat Changi SS and participate in the activities there in the daytime. Further notice will be given when the camp dates and time are confirmed.

St Patrick SS will be hosting a swearing-in ceremony in a few months' time. It is most likely that we will be invited. You have to find out the latest news from our CCA blog!

1. The fire hydrant is on the ground, near the security post.
2. There are 31 call points and 31 fire hosereels. The manual call point is just above the fire hosereel.
3. There are 81 fire extinguishers, including those in Special Rooms such as Math Room, Humanities Room and Computer Labs. The colour is blue and the range is from 2.5 to 5 kg. The dry powder fire extinguisher can be used to put out fires of Class A, B and C.
4. There is no fire detector or smoke detector in the school.

Dragonboat Race on Fun & Fitness Day (7 March 2008)

The orientation for Dragonboat will be held on 25 February from 3 to 6 p.m. Please bring extra set of clothing, swimming costume, PE attire or black t-shirt and shorts. Bus transport will be provided to Kallang and back to school on that day.

The students selected to represent KC NCDCC Unit in the Dragonboat Race are Sara Lim (drummer), Shamini, Claire Seow, Laurel, Zoe, Hanis, Nisa, Tifflin, Karthi, Taryn and Felicia. The two reserves are Rachel Tan and Anisa. All the 11 cadets and 2 reserves must assemble in the hall by 2.30 p.m. next Monday. However, if you forget to return your consent form to the teacher-in-charge of ODAC, you will be eliminated. Footwear : either water booties or any pair of old closed-toes shoes.

Winning is not everything. Just do your best!
