Total Defence & Rescue Assessments

The dates for presentation of individual and group TD projects by Year 1 cadets: 10 and 17 Feb 2010. Year 1 cadets will learn how to use the fire extinguishers and hosereels in Feb. The fire safety assessment (practical and theory) will be conducted on 10 March 2010. Firemen from Tampines FS will bring fire wok and extinguishers. Year 1 cadets will learn footdrill from 10 Feb onwards. Attire: long (black) track pants and KC PE t-shirt. The tailor will be coming in March. You will be receiving the first set of free uniform next month. Sec 2 and 3 cadets who need the second set of uniform, please collect the sizing form from Capt Lim.

All Year 3 cadets including SNCOs are to submit their TD(S) project (soft / hardcopies) by 12 Feb 2010. Capt Lim has uploaded Sec 1 to 4 NCDCC topics in Moodle including TD(S) PDF file.

Year 2 cadets, please do not be absent on 10 March. LTA Mahdi and his SCDF colleagues will bring stretchers and 5-ton mechanical jack to conduct Rescue practical assessment. It would be difficult to arrange for him to come again. You will have to wait one year later if you miss the rescue practical assessment on 10 March.
