1. Suzy, Qamarina, Aqila, Khairunadia, Norlinnah, Nurul Shahira, Putri and Hanis
- 4 will be selected to participate in Frisbee Competition and 4 will be selected to participate in Sec 1 Adventure Challenge. Level Representative, Qamarina will bring a frisbee next Wednesday to test all 8 cadets. Consent forms will be issued soon and Qamarina will collect the consent forms the next day and leave them in Capt Lim's pigeon hole outside the Upper Staff Room. Year 1 cadets may have to meet Capt Lim or Ms Ng earlier than 3 p.m. because they need to meet their group members to do their TD (B) group project and some need to use the computer. But the TD (B) individual project is to be done at home. It can be a poster / powerpoint presentation / symbol on one of the aspects of Total Defence - military, psychological, economic, social and civil defence.
2.Consent forms for SNCO Course [4 cadets], Obstacle Course [4 cadets], Service Day [16 cadets] and Inter-UG Campfire will also be issued on 24 Feb 2010. Year 1 and 3 cadets will have footdrill session on 3 March from 3 to 5 p.m. Some Year 2 cadets who need to present their TD(B) project or pass F(B), please turn up too. The inter-UG Campfire is optional but Capt Lim will make those who are irregular in attendance to attend so that their percentage of attendance for the year can be increased.
3. Consent forms for ATC, Sec 2 Campfire Leaders' Course, HDB Shelter Visit and SMRT CEPP [Ma'am Chang in-charge]
4. CDA Visit is scheduled on 19 August. Visit to Heritage Gallery will take place on 21 July 2010. CDA Visit is for year 1 cadets while Visit to Heritage Gallery is for year 2 cadets. Year 2 cadets will visit Tampines Fire Station for IPP assessment.
5. One hour will be set aside for theory and paper work while 2 hours are set aside for water mist gun training for Year 2 and 3 cadets. HQ Officers will be present from 4 to 6 p.m. every Wednesday until mid-April. Year 1 cadets will learn footdrill from 5 to 6 p.m. every Wednesday while the first two hours will be spent on theory.
6. The teachers-in-charge of NCDCC have the right to reject cadets' requests. For an example, we do not entertain requests from any cadet to change level SNCOs and we do not accept corporal punishment. We do not accept bad behaviour such as shouting at cadets or threatening others (seriously or jokingly) or abusing your authority. Capt Lim wants to remind all cadets that there should not be backstabbing. She does not want to hear complaints about SNCOs because they are just doing their job as student leaders. She wants to focus on the more important issues such as attendance and UOPA. However, cadets must be prepared to get a shock when they go to HQ for training because the instructors there are much stricter (or fiercer) and the training there is tougher. At HQ, doing push ups is a common punishment. So what is there to complain at KC?
7. Capt Lim conducted an internal survey and majority of the Year 2 & 3 cadets have chosen SGT Tifflin Tan to be the CCA Leader in 2010.
8. The list of names for porch duty is put up on the CCA noticeboard. However, there might be changes due to GG World Thinking Day.
