October to November activities (2011)

None wants to attend local and Sabah OBS. We have withdrawn from Precision Drill Competition. Ma'am Norazian and Capt Lim will attend Focus Group Discussion at HTA on 11 October from 4 to 6 p.m.

There will be one last CCA session in Term 4 on 19 Oct. Attire: half u.

29 Oct: Urban Adventure CD Skills Challenge
Assemble outside MOE HQ by 0715.
Participants: Ma'am Norazian, Yvette, Nadia, Aqila, Emily, Trisha
Sec 1 cadets must be trained in First Aid and Rescue in order to participate in UACDC. The attire for all cadets and officers will be the Race T-shirt and Track pants / NCDCC Pants. No FBT shorts or Bermudas are allowed. Proper Footwear (covered toes) and socks (NO ankle socks) must be worn.
All participating teams must bring along the following as team equipment. Must be carried by teams at all times
a) 1 x First-Aid Kit (please refer to annex B for the first aid items).
b) 2 x Base plate Compasses
c) All team members handphones (waterproofed and sealed, for emergency only)
d) Race Passport (Provided by HQ) and Pen
e) Map case or zip-lock for waterproofing maps (Optional)
Every team member must bring the following item as personal equipment:
a) Student EZ-link card
b) 1 water bottle (1 litre to 1.5 litre type)
c) Race backpack (no sling bag or trolley bags are allowed)
d) 1 x whistle
You will be dismissed at 2 p.m. from SCDF 1st Division HQ. Consent forms will be issued on 21 Oct.

SANA Course date: 31 October
Participants: Cordell, Dayana Putri, Erliesah, Masayu
Venue: SANA House, 2 Sengkang Square #05-01 (Near Sengkang MRT Station)
Reporting Time: 0815hrs straight at SANA House. (Course will start at 0830)
Attire: Full u and beret / jockey cap.
Note: One-way transport by taxi.

4 Nov: Sec 3 Homefront Security Course from 0800 to 1200 at HTA Auditorium
Participants: Yun Di, Siti Sara, Irinie, Jade, Yvette
Attire: Full u and beret

Emergency Preparedness Day on the 13th of November [Sunday].
Time: 0900 – 1200.
Venue: Bendemeer Mall (Under a big white tentage)

8 to 25 Nov: Officer Basic Course (Ma'am Tan Min Joo)

12 Nov: Workplan seminar for OC Units and TOs at CCAB from 0830 to 1300

15 Nov: CDA Visit for Sec 1 cadets from 2.30 to 4.30 p.m.
Attire: Full u and beret / jockey cap.

19 Nov: Visit to Heritage Gallery from 1000 to 1100
Participants: Nadia, Aqila, Hanis, Jade, Hasna, Yvette, Irinie, Dayana Putri
Attire: Full u and beret / jockey cap.

28 Nov: Rescue Equipment Course from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at MTV
Reporting Venue / Time: Choa Chu Kang MRT Station / 0745
Attire: No.4 without badges & with beret

28 to 30 Nov: Unit Camp at Changkat Changi SS.
Participants: All Sec 1 to 3 cadets who have not passed First Aid.
Please return all consent forms and assemble in school by 7.30 a.m. on 28 Nov.
Attire: black track pants with blue NCDCC t-shirt.
